Itinerary
Early in the morning, between 1:00 and 2:30 a.m., you will be picked up directly from your hotel in Hurghada. The transfer to the airport will be in an air-conditioned limousine or a comfortable van, depending on your chosen option. During the journey, you will be provided with a selection of snacks, a Coke, and three bottles of water. After a short domestic flight, you will arrive in Cairo, where your private, German-speaking Egyptologist will warmly welcome you. Your first stop will be the Grand Egyptian Museum, whose modern architecture and impressive collection of artifacts showcase Egypt's rich history. Here, you will admire, among other things, the world-famous golden mask of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, as well as numerous relics from the time of the pharaohs. After this impressive start to the day, you will explore the Giza Plateau, home to the famous pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. You'll have ample time to admire the impressive structures and learn fascinating stories about their construction. Right next to the pyramids stands the Great Sphinx, an enigmatic masterpiece of ancient Egyptian art that has guarded the secrets of the past for millennia. Optionally, you can take an unforgettable camel ride and capture breathtaking panoramic photos with the pyramids in the background. At lunchtime, you'll enjoy a delicious meal at a traditional restaurant overlooking the pyramids. Afterward, you'll continue to the heart of Old Cairo, where you'll immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. The narrow alleyways, filled with colorful fabrics, sparkling jewelry, and exotic spices, invite you to explore and browse. Here, you'll experience the authentic flair of the city and can purchase unique souvenirs. After an eventful day, you'll be transferred back to Cairo Airport for your flight to Hurghada. Your transfer will be waiting for you there, and will take you safely and comfortably to your hotel.
