Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and, depending on your chosen option, travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned limousine or van. Always fully air-conditioned and with our usual excellent service! To fuel you for the day, we'll treat you to a selection of snacks, a Coke, and three bottles of water in the morning. During the 160-kilometer drive through the eastern desert, you'll experience impressive mountain ranges reminiscent of the Alps around 7:00 AM. We'll make a short stop at a Bedouin village along the way, where you can get a drink and use the restroom. At the end of the desert stretch, the lush Nile Valley will appear, and you'll continue for another 60 kilometers on the highway to Luxor. Around 10:00 AM, you'll arrive in Luxor and begin your visit with the imposing Karnak Temple complex, the largest temple complex in the world. Known for its impressive hypostyle hall and the picturesque Sacred Lake, this site offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient Egyptian architecture and history. Afterwards, you'll head to a welcoming Egyptian restaurant for lunch. Alternatively, you can take a relaxing boat trip on the Nile to enjoy the beauty of the landscape from a different perspective. There's also the option of a horse-drawn carriage ride through the charming streets of Luxor, allowing you to explore the city at a leisurely pace. After lunch, the tour continues to the famous tombs of the New Kingdom pharaohs. In the Valley of the Kings, you'll have the opportunity to discover the final resting place of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of ancient Egyptian rulers. Your next stop is the impressive terraced temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most important rulers in Egyptian history. The unique architecture of this temple will leave you in awe. The final stop is the majestic Colossi of Memnon, the colossal statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These imposing monuments tell stories from a bygone era and invite you to immerse yourself in the history of Egypt. A visit to the Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt, is highly recommended, as is a visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Valley of the Kings with its pharaohs' tombs, and the Colossi of Memnon from the 14th century BC. Alternatively, you can take a traditional boat trip on the Nile or a horse-drawn carriage ride through Luxor. At the end of the day, you will be taken back to your hotel with many breathtaking impressions. However we choose to spend the day together, you will create unforgettable memories!
