Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning between 2:45 and 3:30 a.m. and, depending on the option booked, you will travel in a small group in an air-conditioned and comfortable van. Of course, we offer you the usual excellent service! To strengthen you for the day, we will spoil you in the morning with a selection of snacks, a cola and three bottles of water. During the 160 kilometer drive through the eastern desert you will experience impressive mountain ranges reminiscent of the Alps around 7:00 a.m. On the way we will take a short break in a Bedouin village where you can have a drink and use the toilet. At the end of the desert stretch, the green Nile Valley appears, and you drive another 60 kilometers on the country road to Luxor. You will reach Luxor around 10 a.m. and begin your visit with the impressive temple complex of Karnak, the largest temple complex in the world. Known for its impressive Hypostyle Hall and picturesque Sacred Lake, this site offers a fascinating insight into ancient Egyptian architecture and history. Afterwards you will go to a welcoming Egyptian restaurant for lunch. Alternatively, you have the opportunity to take a relaxing ride on the Nile in a traditional boat to enjoy the beauty of the landscape from a different perspective. After lunch, the exploration tour continues to the famous pharaoh tombs of the New Kingdom. In the Valley of the Kings you have the opportunity to discover the resting place of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the ancient Egyptian rulers. Your next stop is the impressive terrace temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most important rulers in Egyptian history. The unique architecture of this temple will amaze you. The final stop is the majestic Colossi of Memnon, the colossal statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These impressive monuments tell stories from a bygone era and invite you to immerse yourself in the history of Egypt. At the end of the day you will be brought back to your hotel with many breathtaking impressions in your luggage. No matter how we spend the day together, you will make unforgettable memories!
