Depending on the hotel location, you will be picked up between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. by a comfortable, air-conditioned bus. During the journey you will enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the desert - a magical moment that increases your anticipation of the day ahead. At around 9:30 a.m. you will reach Luxor, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. Your first stop is the majestic Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt. Here you can marvel at the huge colonnaded halls, impressive obelisks and fascinating reliefs that bear witness to the former splendor of the pharaohs. For a special perspective on Luxor, you have the opportunity to take a relaxing boat trip on the Nile, which will take you along a scenic route to the west bank (at an additional cost). After this impressive exploration, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included) before setting off to discover the mystical Valley of the Kings. There you enter three of the magnificently decorated pharaohs' tombs, which were carved deep into the rocks. If you want to discover even more, you can get access to other impressive grave sites for an additional fee. Another highlight of your trip is the mortuary temple of the pharaoh Hatshepsut - an architectural masterpiece that blends impressively into the surrounding rocks. You then stop for a quick photo stop at the impressive Colossi of Memnon, the last remnants of a once gigantic temple.
