Itinerary
Depending on your hotel's location, you will be picked up between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus. During the drive, you'll enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the desert – a magical moment that heightens the anticipation for the day ahead. Around 9:30 a.m., you'll arrive in Luxor, one of the world's most important archaeological sites. Your first stop is the majestic Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt. Here, you'll marvel at the colossal columned halls, imposing obelisks, and fascinating reliefs that testify to the former splendor of the pharaohs. For a unique perspective of Luxor, you have the option of taking a relaxing boat trip on the Nile, which will take you along a scenic route to the west bank (at an additional cost). After this impressive exploration, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included) before setting off to discover the mystical Valley of the Kings. There, you'll enter three of the magnificently decorated pharaohs' tombs, carved deep into the rock. Those who wish to explore further can purchase access to additional impressive burial sites for an extra charge. Another highlight of your excursion is the mortuary temple of Pharaoh Hatshepsut – an architectural masterpiece that blends impressively into the surrounding rocks. Afterward, you'll make a brief photo stop at the imposing Colossi of Memnon, the last remnants of a once gigantic temple. At the end of the day, you'll be taken back to your hotel with many breathtaking impressions. However we choose to spend the day together, you're sure to create unforgettable memories!
